KOLO: Stacy Woodbury Announces Candidacy in AD-40

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - Assemblyman PK Oneill has announced he will not seek re-election and will instead retire.

He said that as he’s heading towards his 75th birthday, it’s time he stepped aside for someone younger.


The Republican has spent eight years serving Assembly District 40, representing Carson City, Storey County, and a portion of Washoe County. He also spent time as the Nevada Assembly Minority Leader.


Stacy Woodbury of Carson City has now announced her candidacy to fill the seat.
