Meet Stacy Woodbury
Rooted in Community.
Grounded in Conservative Values.
Focused on Results.
Stacy Woodbury has called Carson City home since 1996. Together with her husband, Jason, she has raised three children here while volunteering in schools, youth sports, church, and local nonprofits. Carson City isn’t just where Stacy lives — it’s where she built her family and her future.
For nearly three decades, Stacy has combined community service with proven leadership. She has served on the Boards of the Carson City Chamber of Commerce and the Western Nevada College Foundation, earning recognition as one of Carson City’s Women of Distinction.
Stacy’s professional experience spans both public service and the private sector. She began her career with the Legislative Counsel Bureau before serving in senior state roles, including Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Deputy Secretary of State, Chief of Administration for the Nevada Gaming Control Board, and Executive Director of the Nevada Commission on Ethics — where she worked to ensure accountability and integrity in state government. Beyond public service, Stacy has owned and operated her own small business and now serves as a corporate public affairs manager in northern Nevada, coordinating local government and community relations.
Now preparing to retire from her business career, Stacy is ready to give back full-time as your representative in the Nevada State Assembly. With deep roots and broad experience, she will bring trusted, common-sense conservative leadership to Assembly District 40.
